Bryce Adelle Quinto

When Bryce was 3 years old, an uncle who was the head of the Polo Association put her on a pony. As simple as that, a life long passion and journey began!

Bryce is now 19 years old, and her talent and dedication to the sport of Dressage have already won her many accolades including:

  • USDF Bronze
  • USDF Silver (2-4th level and Prix St. George)
  • CDS Horse of the Year  / Regional Reserve Champion (Training level)
  • USDF Junior Training level champion
  • She also was 7th for the equitation finals in 2013.

Bryce was recently invited to participate in the USEF young rider strategic test riding clinic with Charlotte Bredahl.

Her typical day consists of waking up at the crack of dawn and coming to the barn where on average she trains and rides up to 6 horses a day, teaches her students, and takes care of her beloved horses “Djedfre” and “Been Verified.”  Although Lehua Custer is her main trainer, she also works with Jan Ebeling and Hilda Gurney on a regular basis.

The popularity of ponies in Europe has not been fully realized in the U.S.A.  Bryce’s dream is to start a Pony Barn where she would like to encourage kids through adult amateurs to ride and compete on ponies in all disciplines.  “Ponies don’t get enough credit. They are so talented, sturdy and sound. I am not breed-specific, and I think that any breed of horse can get to the higher levels with enough commitment, love and time.”

Her goals include getting her Trainer Certification and completing the USDF “L” judges program, starting her mare “Dendera” under saddle before summer, and finishing her degree in Equine Sciences.

There is no question she has a very bright future ahead of her, and we are thrilled to have her as our Assistant Trainer at LCD.
